Sledding and Night Sledding

Adventure for the entire family:
Night sledding on Katschberg. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, during vacations daily. Down into the valley on a 1,5 km floodlit slope. Stop and sled rental on Gamskogel Hut.

The ascent to Gamskogel Hut takes about 40 minutes from Katschberg center.

Horse Sleigh

A ride on the sleigh is always a very special experience. A natural part of the journey is a stop at the rustic and homey Pritz Hut.

Another tip:
During the day you can go on a deep snow tour to Pritz Hut via Tschaneck and take a ride back to the Katschberg on a horse sleigh. This lift is better known as "Biolift Katschberg".

Ice Skating

The ice skating square in the center of Katschberg ski resort ensures a variety of events especially for kids. You can rent skates in the sport shops.

The ice skating square is also lighted in the evenings.

Katschberg Höhenloipe

(high crosscountry ski run)

Push yourself on altitudes from 1640 to 1800 m. A total of 16 optimally prepared ski run kilometers with challenging inclines and descents. The route is distinguished by its wonderful alpine pasture landscape and the marvelous mountain panorama alongside the Aineck slopes. Stops for refreshments are possible along the route. Cross-country skis are for rent in the sport shops at Katschberg.
